Greetings of Division Head

Our department, Health Sciences of Graduate School of Medical Sciences, Kyushu University, has founded five courses; Nursing, Quantum Radiation Science, Medical Technology, Midwifery, and Asian International courses. We are aiming to educate future leaders of teaching, research, highly professional in health sciences for medicine.

We have started “Advanced Medical Quantum Technological Science Course” in Division of Medical Quantum Science of the master's course from 2017 in “A Kyushu cancer professional training plan corresponding to the new needs”, which has begun from 2017 as a university education reproduction strategy business supported by Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT). The aim of the plan is to bring up persons who can cope with cancer measures depending on cancer genomic medicine, a rare cancer, childhood cancer, a life stage to promote of the cancer medical care in Kyushu and Japan cooperating with 10 universities in Kyushu Area. In this course, we are going to train talents especially radiological technologists who also have the qualification of medical physicist among the cancer professionals. We also intend to educate talents from science and engineering field, who can contribute to cancer medical care having the knowledge of the medical physics in addition to the knowledge and techniques of imaging diagnosis, radiation therapy, and nuclear medicinal specialty.

We are preparing highest class subjects, research environment, and professors in our department to educate professional medical talents with research ability. We are looking forward very much to seeing new students who aim to be professionals having both research mind and high will.

分野長挨拶

九州大学大学院医学系学府保健学専攻では、看護学分野・医用量子線科学分野・検査技術科学分野・助産学コース・アジア保健学コース、の５コースを設置しており、医療における高度な専門性を有し、国際的視野と研究力を備えた、保健学分野で将来のリーダーとなる教育者・研究者・高度専門医療人材の養成を目指しております。この度平成30年度より新たに、修士課程の医用量子線科学分野に「先端医用量子線技術科学コース」を設置いたしました。

　

九州地区の10大学が連携し、がんゲノム医療、希少がん・小児がん、ライフステージに応じたがん対策に対応できる人材を育成し、九州および日本におけるがん医療の一層の推進を図ることを目的とした「新ニーズに対応する九州がんプロ養成プラン」が、平成29年度から文部科学省の大学教育再生戦略事業に採択され始まりました。同プランの支援のもと、本コースを設置いたしました。

　

本コースでは、がん専門の医療人材（がんプロフェッショナル）の中でも、医学物理士の資格を持った診療放射線技師または理工系出身の医学物理士として、画像診断、放射線治療や核医学の専門性の高い知識や技術に加えて医学物理の知識を備えた、高度化するがん医療に貢献できる人材の養成を目指します。研究能力を備えたプロフェッショナルの医療人材の育成を目指し、授業科目、実習内容、研究環境ともに最高の環境を整えて支援いたします。研究マインドと高い志を持った高度な医療人を目指す皆さまの入学を心よりお待ちしております。
