{"id":855,"date":"2026-10-01T17:01:16","date_gmt":"2026-10-01T08:01:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/web.shs.kyushu-u.ac.jp\/~mp\/en\/greeting\/"},"modified":"2026-10-01T17:25:36","modified_gmt":"2026-10-01T08:25:36","slug":"greeting","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/web.shs.kyushu-u.ac.jp\/~mp\/en\/greeting\/","title":{"rendered":"Greeting"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Greeting from the Head of the Division<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"ti_05 wp-block-paragraph\">The \u201cTraining Program for Next-generation Health Professionals with Cancer Care in Kyushu\u201d is a new program jointly promoted by 11 universities in Kyushu and Okinawa, with the objectives of solving issues emerging in cancer care, promoting cancer prevention, and developing new treatment methods. As a project under the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology\u2019s \u201cTraining Program for Next-generation Health Professionals with Cancer Care,\u201d it aims to train professionals who can address three issues in cancer care throughout Kyushu and Okinawa: contributing to problem solving in clinical practice, training specialists in cancer prevention, and promoting the development of new treatment methods. Through education and practice tailored to the challenges of the field, the program nurtures professionals who will contribute to the future of cancer care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"ti_05 wp-block-paragraph\">Based on the objectives of this program, the Division of Medical Quantum Science has established the \u201cMedical Quantum Data Scientist Course\u201d for the following two purposes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">(1) To acquire the integrated knowledge, grounded in medical physics, required of medical quantum data scientists (including genomic information) working in clinical settings: the science and engineering of diagnostic imaging, nuclear medicine, and radiation therapy, together with the ability to solve problems in clinical medicine using data-driven technologies, including data science and artificial intelligence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">(2) To acquire advanced science and engineering knowledge, built on expertise in medical physics related to diagnostic imaging, nuclear medicine, and radiation therapy, that can contribute to the development of advanced and next-generation medical devices effective for cancer treatment and prevention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"ti_05 wp-block-paragraph\">Our division aims to develop researchers in medical physics and radiological technology who can conduct independent and creative research, who have the problem-solving skills needed for highly specialized work, and who have the broad academic knowledge and global perspective that underpin these abilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-right wp-block-paragraph\">Head, Division of Medical Quantum Science<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Greeting from the Head of the Division The \u201cTraini [&hellip;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":0,"parent":854,"menu_order":1,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_mp_next_title":"","_mp_next_content":"","footnotes":""},"class_list":["post-855","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/web.shs.kyushu-u.ac.jp\/~mp\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages\/855","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/web.shs.kyushu-u.ac.jp\/~mp\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/web.shs.kyushu-u.ac.jp\/~mp\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/page"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/web.shs.kyushu-u.ac.jp\/~mp\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/2"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/web.shs.kyushu-u.ac.jp\/~mp\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=855"}],"version-history":[{"count":1,"href":"https:\/\/web.shs.kyushu-u.ac.jp\/~mp\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages\/855\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":961,"href":"https:\/\/web.shs.kyushu-u.ac.jp\/~mp\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages\/855\/revisions\/961"}],"up":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/web.shs.kyushu-u.ac.jp\/~mp\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages\/854"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/web.shs.kyushu-u.ac.jp\/~mp\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=855"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
